Sean and Sian Winters

Name: Sean Winters/Sian Winters.

Gender: Male/Female.

Age: 37 years old.

Species: Human (Dizygotic Twins).

Hair: Light brown. Sean has a crew-cut style hairdo, Sian's hair is long and falls down to just below her shoulders.

Eyes: Brown.

Height: 5 foot 9 inches.

Weight/Body Structure: Medium and slender build.


Unusual Features: Sean wears glasses, Sian wears contact lenses. Both are long-sighted.
 
Gait/Posture: Both walk with an air of authority and extreme dignity/superiority about them.

Voice/Speech Patterns: Both speak English with a strong Swiss French (Suisse Romand) accent.


You are a: Both are Scientists. Sean is an expert in Cryonics, Behavioural Genetics and Nanotechnology whilst Sian's forte is Neuroscience, Bioengineering and Botany.

Clothing of Choice: Sean tends to dress neatly yet casually in t-shirts, trousers, brogue shoes and his favourite brown leather jacket, Sian however tends to dress in a more business like manner, usually in a purple dress-suit and jacket  along with open toed high heel shoes.

Your Inventory: They don't particularly carry any weapons with them and will often improvise in a fight situation with whatever is on hand at the time.

Sean always carries a dictaphone, a set of scalpels and a small suture kit in his pockets, Sian usually carries a notebook and pen along with a small medical kit (which comprises of the standard medical kit contents and some srynges filled with (a) Pavulon, a powerful muscle relaxant and (b) Sodium Pentothal, which when injected into a person can be as a truth serum to weaken the resolve of the subject and make them more compliant to pressure (however an overdose of this particular drug can cause death via cardiac failure).

Personality: Sean is the more laid-back and easy-going of the twins and tends to take things in his stride.

Sian on the other hand is the more business-like of the two and seems to have a bit of a superiority complex, which can make her come across as somewhat cold and arrogant.

Both are very proud of their scientific status and acheivements.

Special Skills: None to speak of save their scientific prowess, except that Sean is proficient in the art of boxing and Sian's fighting prowess lies in her expertese in the art of fencing.


You Really Like: Both twins enjoy their scientific work and their lives revolve around it accordingly. If they aren't working on a specific job or a personal science project they tend to spend most of their time hanging out with each other rather than other people.

You Really Hate: Sean gets along with most people but can't stand anyone that is smarmy, grubby, unkempt or slovenly.

Sian detests anyone who tries to tell her what she can or can't do or is as stubborn and strong willed as she is.

However, both twins main fear is of being separated from one another due to an incident in their childhood involving the authorities and child social services. This fear runs so deep that on being threatened with seperation (whether by authorities, persons, injury or death) they will literally become crazed with fear to the point of extreme psychosis and violence.

Romantic Choices: Sean and Sian do not actively seek permanant partners due to their 'separation issues', although they both have been known to have their brief 'dalliances/flings' and the odd double-date from time to time.

Sean has a thing for strong, motherly, dominant women, particularly redheds or blondes, whereas Sian has a thing for dark-haired, weak men that are overly romantic and will do anything and everything she asks of them without question.

How did you arrive?: Sean and Sian seem to have arrived at the mansion at the invite of Rendell in the belief that they were to speak/perform a series of scientific lectures on Molecular Nanotechnology and Cellular Neuroscience in order to raise funds for their next scientific project.

Your Personal Record: Sean and Sian were born in Bernese Jura, Switzerland to their parents Stanley and Claudette Winters. The twins spent their early years growing up in Switzerland until they were aged 12 and their father (a Professor of Genetics) was offered employment with a private firm in London, England and moved his family there.

At the age of 14 child social services took the twins from the family home after an incident during which both their parents were killed (it was thought to have been an East-end Gangland hit). The  authorities deemed that the children be separated and sent to different foster homes, however (after finding this out) sometime during the night both children escaped from their temporary accomodation after overcoming their two carers.

With some assistance from their mothers older sister in Jura, they managed to return to Switzerland, then lived comfortably with their Aunt Estelle until they were old enough to fend for themselves, and follow their careers in science.

Goals: To be able to raise enough funds for their next scientific project, perfect said project and then sell their creation/findings to the highest bidder.
